The Genisys Group, Inc. was founded in April, 1997, by Clyde Cutrer, President and Owner. We recently spoke with Clyde and Cliff Graves, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, who has also been with the Genisys Group, Inc. since its founding.

Tell us about the Genisys Group, Inc. We are a Premier IBM Business Partner, headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, with offices in seven states. We’ve built our business selling quality IBM solutions to a core group of clients in the healthcare, finance, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation sectors. Key to our approach is to provide our clients with senior level sales and technical people, and not entry level employees that need to have their hands held.
How long have you partnered with Plasmon? Since about 2000. We started selling the IBM 3995s, and have had a lot of success selling this line. G164 and 238 are also great sellers for us. We see definite value with the permanence and compliance benefits of UDO, especially in the healthcare market.
What messages have worked for you as you sell Plasmon? We have had a lot of success leveraging UDO’s low TCO in deals, from sales to service and maintenance. In addition, the UDO free media Upgrade Program was extremely helpful in jumpstarting several new opportunities and pushing ahead several existing deals for us.
What is it like working with Plasmon? Michael Weldon (our Plasmon Field Sales Manager) and the Cranel team work together seamlessly to support our configuration questions and needs. Michael works well with our local reps. We feel a lot of synergy working with Cranel and Plasmon and look forward to a long and bright future.
