September, 2005 - Each quarter, IBM presents the “Eagle Award” to one iSeries Sales Specialist from the Americas, one from Europe, and one from Asia. Peter Finnorn, IBM iSeries Sales Specialist for Alabama, SE Mississippi and NW Florida was fortunate enough to receive it for the Americas for his performance in 3Q of 2005. The IBM recipient is allowed to name one IBM Business Partner sales person to share in the award. 

Peter selected Anne Lucas from Genisys Group based upon the tremendous job she did in Alabama in 2005. Anne was instrumental in organizing customer-marketing events for the iSeries customers in Alabama and NW Florida. 

"In this territory, the average revenue for an iSeries deal is relatively small, so a large number of systems must be sold," said Peter. "Mass marketing seems to be the key and Anne provided the best support to me in terms of my strategy to bring large groups of customers together for education on the solutions available on the iSeries platform. Anne is excellent when it comes to organizing and publicizing events."
